San Ramon California junior Alyssa Brewer repeated as girls 800-meter champion in a meet-record 2:08.37, lowering her own mark of 2:08.47 from last year at the CIF North Coast Section Meet of Champions at Cal Berkeley's Edwards Stadium. Brewer became the first girls back-to-back 800 winner at the Meet of Champions since University's Yfa Kretzschmar in 2001-02.
